What We Do

The Coalition for At-Risk Youth operates out of the medical office of the founder, Dr. Pearl Grimes.

Dr. Grimes founded this non-profit organization in 2005 to help foster youth suffering from debilitating skin disorders and physical illnesses.

CARRY provides foster care youth with:

• Pro bono medical and skin care treatment for foster youth
• Mentoring
• Financial assistance for education
• Counseling
• Career development
• Scholarships
• 1 week summer camp (Camp CARRY)
• Quarterly seminars on health, nutrition and well-being
• Holiday dinner party

• Sparrow Rainbow Village, South Africa
